PET Nonwoven Fabric Material
Polyester (PET) spunbond filament non-woven fabric is a kind of non-woven fabric cloth, and its raw material is 100% polyester chips. It is made of countless continuous polyester filaments through spunbonding and hot rolling. It is also called PET spunbond filament non-woven fabric or PES spun-bond non-woven fabric, also called single-component spunbond non-woven fabric.
Products Features
1.Hydrophobic: It is the feature of a nonwoven which means the spunbond nonwoven fabric itself does not absorb any liquid. We also call it water-repellent or water-resistant (waterproof). This does not mean the water cannot go through the nonwovens. In some ways, the water can immerse through the nonwoven. If you want some water immersion through the nonwoven, you need to choose the lightweight between 10gsm-25gsm. Whether the water can go through or not depends on the weight of per square meter. The lighter weight can immerse easily than the thicker. For this reason, we can use this for agriculture or horticulture mulch for frost protection or prevent weed growth.
2.High temperature resistance: The melting point of PET spun-bond fabric is around 260℃ which is dimensional stability in high temperature conditions. It is widely and largely to be used for various nonwoven bag printing. We also call it heat transfer printing. It is beautiful, fashionable as you want. Polyester (PET) spunbond filament non-woven fabric is a water-repellent non-woven fabric, and the water-repellent properties of the PET non-woven polyester fabric vary according to the gram size. The larger the weight, and thicker the shape, the better the water repellency. If there are water droplets on the surface of the polyester non-woven fabric, the water droplets will slide directly off the surface.
